At Domestic Violence Awareness Telethon, we are dedicated to protecting the civil rights of all individuals, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation. We believe that everyone deserves to live each day fulfilling their dreams in teh absence of domestic violence.

 Some studies show the following:

Family and domestic violence is definitiely an unfortunate and common problem in the United States.  It affects more than we may think.  It is actually an estimated 10 million women and men every year.  This means that there are as  many as one in four women and one in nine men are victims of domestic violence. 

 What percentage of people are affected by domestic abuse? Unfortunately there are 1 in 5. 1 in 5 adults experience Domestic Abuse during their lifetime. This number also equates to: 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6-7 men. 

 You're invited to join us as part of our vision to bring awareness to domestic violence, remediaes and counseling services. We are holding a month long telethon to accomplish this purpose. Remedies that we also support are:

Contacting the national domestic violence emergency number:

 There are more, but here are 4 remedies exist in the law to address domestic violence. The most powerful and most important is the Order of Protection. This is important and there are some other remedies include a Mutual Restraining Order, also a Civil No Contact Order and a Stalking No Contact Order. Each remedy can fit a varying number of different circumstance. 

It's Time to Get Out (yes, telethon). Dr. Krystylle Richardson and Lynda Sunshine West are working with a nonprofit to raise awareness and money for those in domestic violence situations. Our mission is to inspire, encourage, and motivate thousands of people to get out with our support. 

Our approach and vision are huge and doable with your help.

We are looking for 2,222 speakers, 222 MCs, 222 production assistants, and 222 support staff. 

We're also looking for sponsors, PR & marketing masters, and connections to nonprofits that help people out of domestic violence situations.
